Saturday, Sept. 3 – TOUR de FAT hits the streets of Fort Collins; Yes! This year the Co-op will benefit from a percentage of beer sales, valet bike parking and concession sales of T-shirts and New Belgium merchandise. We still have 60 shifts to fill here. And if you help with beer sales you need to undergo TIPS training the week before. Note that if you plan to ride the TdF there are plenty of afternoon shifts when you can help and still pedal in the parade. You can sign up for shifts at Tour de Fat here:

Here is where to sign up for TIPS training:
Aug 24th http://www.signupgenius.com/go/tips6
Aug 30th http://www.signupgenius.com/go/tips7
We also have several positions in bike valet, cleanup, and selling merchandise (t-shirts etc.) that do not require TIPS training. Please consider signing up on-line to help out.
Volunteers receive two beverage tokens and a Tour de Fat T-shirt!!
Please try to bring a friend, Mom and Dad, or even Gramma and Grandpa – we’d love to have them help! Help the Co-op make Tour de Fat successful.

Our friends over at Akinz are making shirts for bike to work day again this year. For each “Bike to Work Tee” they sell, they will be donating $2 to the Bike Co-op. They have the new designs up on the Akinz site. Don’t forget to have them delivered by bike if you’re local.
