Christmas Sell-a-bration at the Co-op!

We celebrate bikes every day at the Co-op but December is special as we’ll be
sell-a-brating bikes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout December from 2 – 5 p.m. and we’ll have a special Open House at the Co-op Saturday Dec. 19 from 12 – 5 p.m During these open store hours we’ve got great deals on refurbished winter bikes, frames, parts and “as is bikes” for that winter bike project you’ve been waiting to build!
What about Christmas presents? We have quality CPSC, dial-to-fit helmets for $10, light sets for $20, single lights for $10 and Kryptonite locks for $13 & $20! Promote safe and smart cycling in your family with helmets and lights this Christmas. (Family special on helmets = 3 helmets for $25!)

To celebrate the holiday season with all your favorite bike-nuts, come join us for the Co-op Ugly Sweater Christmas Party. We’ll potluck food and beverages, enjoy some music, and focus on what really matters during the holidays, laughing, dancing, and having a great time with friends. Please bring your own dishes/silverware to make this a zero-waste event. Did I mention that we had heat in the shop now? Cold parties are a thing of the past. Prizes awarded for ugliest sweaters and most creative use of marshmallows.
Fort Collins Urban Assault Race

The Fort Collins Bike Coop is proud to be the beneficiary of the Rio Grande Urban Assault Ride! The Urban Assault Ride. is the biggest bike scavenger hunt series in the world! You and a teammate will take to the streets on a city-wide bike adventure. Plot your own course to checkpoints around town where you’ll take on physical and mental obstacle courses. Be the 1st team to hit all the checkpoints and you’ll win a pair of New Belgium Brewing cruiser bikes (and be the first team to the beer tent 
The event is well known for its funky obstacle courses which must be completed before moving on. We’re talking modified Big Wheels, Bike Jousting, The Keg Walk, Inflatable Slides…and much more. Obstacles change every year and at every UAR. It’s a killer event for anybody who can pedal a bike (ages 7 and up). After the fun at the checkpoints there’s a ragin’ after party with a huge prize raffle and plenty of New Belgium beer and Rio Grande fajitas.
